Secure Information Sharing System.
- Porting existing SIS0.1 system (Linux/LDAP/Apache/Modified Mod-LDAP) to Window-based Server system (Active Directory/IIS).

  - He is using a VoIP client called shtoom, It's a VoIP client based on SIP, written
    mostly in Python, and is cross platform, running on Windows, Linux, and
    Mac OSX.
  - He is adding his crypto modules, turning it into a secure phone.
  - We can help by improving the stability and feature of Shtoom.

Network Processor-based Projects
- Improve the features and performance of Intel IXP1200 network processor-based content switch.
- We have an Intel IXP12EB evaluation board with which we have created a content switch system.
- Jayant Patil recently has a breakthrough in his secure web-based management interface for advanced IXP-based content switch.
- Student will learn about his work and related Realtime Embedded VxWork OS, Windriver Tonado IDE, IXP1200 network processor programming.

- Design the Public Key Infrastructure for secure communiations among components of a SCOLD consortium.
- Proxy server selection problem: pick and choose optimal subset of proxy servers.
  - Develop optimal algorithm with the following metrics: MaxFlow+DiverseRoute, MaxFlow with min subnet, MiniDelay between a client and a target server
  - Develop optimal algorithm for a set of clients (not just a client) and a target server.
