UCCS was proud to host girls STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math): Giving Girls Roots in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math on October 12, 2012.
During the event, 350 middle school girls in grades 6-8 from the southern Colorado region attended three interactive workshops, designed to engage them in STEM content. Fun activities included biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and engineering interactive experiments, and dynamic hands-on activities.
